Apple AirPods Max now available in the Philippines

The Apple AirPods Max is now available for purchase in the country through the official Apple PH website.

The over-ear headphones, Apple AirPods Max, boast high-fidelity audio and Active Noise Cancellation. It features what the company calls a custom acoustic design with breathable knit mesh canopy on the headband to distribute weight and reduce on-head pressure, stainless steel headband frame, telescoping headband arms, and acoustically engineered memory foam to create an effective seal.

Moreover, the AirPods Max features a 40mm Apple-designed dynamic driver, dual neodymium ring magnet motor to maintain a total harmonic distortion of less than 1%, Apple-designed H1 chip with 10 audio cores on each ear cup, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and spatial audio with dynamic head tracking to place sounds virtually anywhere in space — delivering an immersive, theater-like experience for content recorded in 5.1, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos.

For controls, it uses a Digital Crown inspired by the Apple Watch for adjusting the volume, playing or pausing audio, skipping tracks, answering or ending phone calls, and activating Siri. The AirPods Max can also automatically detect when they are on a user’s head using the optical and position sensors. Voice calls, on the other hand, are handled by beam-forming microphones that can block out ambient noise and focus on the user’s voice.

The AirPods Max sports up to 20 hours of high-fidelity audio, talk time, or movie playback with Active Noise Cancellation and spatial audio enabled. It also comes with a soft, slim Smart Case that puts AirPods Max in an ultralow-power state that helps to preserve battery charge when not in use.

The Apple AirPods Max comes with a price tag of PHP 32,990. This is available in Space Gray, Silver, Green, Sky Blue, and Pink color options. Those who will purchase the AirPods Max from the official Apple PH website may have it personalized by adding engraving for free.
