Apple MacBook Air (2018) now official

Apple has announced their all-new MacBook Air (2018) that sports a Retina display and Touch ID.

The all-new Apple MacBook Air (2018) sports a 13.3-inch Retina Display that boasts 48% more colors, thinner bezels, and a body that is made from 100% recycled aluminum weighing at just 2.75lbs but has 17% less volume than the previous MacBook Air.

Other features include the Touch ID on the keyboard, Apple T2 security chip, 3rd-gen backlit keyboard, Force Touch trackpad, stereo speakers, a three-mic array for improved voice recognition for Siri, and two Thunderbolt 3 ports.

Configuration starts with an 8th-gen Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB SSD, for $1,199. It will be available in the US on November 7, 2018. It comes in gold, space gray and silver colors.
