eSports has always been close to Filipino gamers hearts, ever since the age of Dota and the tournaments for the title started to erupt. While there is growing interest in eSports in the Philippines, there are still only a few companies locally who support the platform. One of those companies is Cable TV provider Cignal. The well-known cable company has now partnered with eGG Network to bring a 24/7 channel dedicated for e-sports.

The channel starts broadcasting today and will bring in round the clock tournament coverage, game streams, and game features to Cignal subscribers. eGG, a known South East Asian eSports & gaming entertainment network, is also interested in bringing in local shows and tournaments to the Philippines and further improve their partnership with Cignal.

possibleng may involve dito [carriage dispute] as similar to its counterpart , as what Sky Cable dispute Solar’s ‘unpaid fees’ claim for its channel NBA premium together with other channels of Solar Entertainment , who knows for such of these things……………..

…………………in some cases , yes , Cignal partners with eGG Network as a “pay tv provider”…….sa totoo lang parang kommplikado etong issue na ‘to in such a cases, mag-lipat ka na lang sa cignal at doon ka na lang manood ng pabooriton mong “eGG Network” channel na yan…………………………just prepare for the monthly fees for these…………….
