Energizer, a brand known for manufacturing batteries, has announced their new line of smartphones, the Ultimate series, and among them are two devices with dual pop-up cameras.
Reports stated that the company will be launching 26 new Energizer phones at the MWC 2019 this month. The most interesting devices among them are the Ultimate U620S Pop and U630S Pop which features dual pop-up cameras.
The U620S Pop comes with a 6.2-inch FHD+ display, MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, 16MP + 5MP + 2MP triple rear cameras, 16MP + 2MP dual front cameras placed at the pop-up module, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 3,200mAh battery w/ fast charging.
The U630S Pop, on the other hand, has a 6.3-inch HD+ display, Helio P22 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera, 16MP + 2MP dual front cameras, fingerprint scanner, and 3,500mAh battery w/ fast charging.
Among the announced phones are the following with their corresponding specs:
- Energizer Ultimate U650SÂ – 6.5-inch HD+ display, Helio P22 chipset, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera, 16MP front camera, USB type-C, 3,500mAh battery with fast charging. (Launching in October)
- Energizer Ultimate U620S – 6.2-inch HD+ display, MediaTek MT6765 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera, 16MP front camera, 4,000mAh battery. (Launching in June)
- Energizer Ultimate U570SÂ – 5.7-inch HD+ display, Quad-core processor, 32GB storage, 16MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, 16MP front camera, 3,000mAh battery (Launching in April)

They should just focus on one or two models with solid specs/features particularly big battery (5000mah+) because of their name, at compelling prices. This late in the game they can only penetrate the smartphone market with products like pocophone f1 or realmi c1.
