FiiO BTR5 2021 Bluetooth Amplifier now official

FiiO has just announced the arrival of the FiiO BTR5 2021 in Singapore. The BTR5 2021 is an upgraded version of the original BTR5, with better features.

New features include a new DAC chip, the ES9219C, that features better decoding performance, a higher signal-to-noise ratio, and lower power consumption. It also features an MQA Renderer allowing for high res sound quality in small files for your mobile device. It supports up to MQA 16x decoding with applicable music apps.

It has Bluetooth 5.0 support high-resolution formats such as AAC/SBC/aptX/aptX Low Latency/aptX HD/LDAC up to 96kHz. It also utilizes an XMOS XUF208 control chip, to decode audio under USB Audio Class 2.0. The BTR5 2021 can decode up to 384kHz sampling rate and native DSD.

The Qualcomm CSR8675 low-power Bluetooth chip provides support for 24-bit audio processing and possesses a 120MHz DSP to handle various decoding functions. It also features 2 microphones with cVc 8.0 noise cancellation.

The BTR5 has a built-in 550mAh battery that takes 1.5 hours to fully charge for a 9-hour battery life.

The FiiO BTR5 2021 retails for SGD 199 and is available in Singapore.
