Finnish smartphone maker Jolla is making a comeback with the upcoming new-generation Jolla Phone, bringing fresh hardware and its privacy-first Sailfish OS 5. The device comes in black, white, and bright orange, and keeps things refreshingly old-school with a removable back cover and battery.

Specs are modern enough: 5G support, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage with up to 2TB microSD expansion, dual nano-SIM, and a 6.36-inch Full HD AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass. Cameras include a 50MP main and 13MP ultrawide shooter.
The highlight is Sailfish OS 5, a Linux-based system focused on privacy with no trackers and no Google services, while still running Android apps. A physical switch instantly disables cameras, mics, and wireless radios.
Pre-orders require a €99 ( PHP 6804.27 ) deposit, with early pricing at €499 ( PHP 34,296.27 ), rising to €599 ( PHP 41,169.27 )–€699 ( PHP 48,042.27 )later. Production begins if 2,000 units are reserved by January 2026.
