Fujifilm has introduced the instax mini Evo Cinema, a new hybrid instant camera that blends photography, short-form video, and instant printing into a single creative tool. Announced by Fujifilm North America, the mini Evo Cinema expands the instax lineup with a cinema-inspired design and a stronger focus on personalization and storytelling.

Designed as a 3-in-1 device, the instax mini Evo Cinema lets users shoot still photos, capture up to 15-second video clips, and instantly print images on instax mini film. When paired with the instax mini Evo smartphone app, video projects can be extended to 30 seconds, rearranged, and managed wirelessly via Bluetooth.
At the heart of the camera is the new Gen Dial™, a first for instax cameras, which applies visual styles inspired by 10 different eras from the grainy tones of the 1930s to the bold colors of the 1980s and the crisp look of the 2020s. Each era can be further refined using the Degree Control Dial, allowing precise adjustment of color, contrast, and noise to create multiple variations per style.

Users can also customize their content using the Frame Switch, which adds era-inspired borders to photos and videos, and easily toggle between Cine and Still modes. In Cine mode, the camera automatically stitches clips into a single smooth video, while a built-in digital zoom lever offers more creative control over framing.
Through the instax mini Evo app, users gain access to My Gallery, a dedicated space for organizing photos, videos, and projects. The camera also supports video printing, generating instax mini prints embedded with QR codes that link back to playable video clips on a smartphone, with content stored securely for up to 24 months.
The instax mini Evo Cinema features a retro-inspired design reminiscent of classic 8mm film cameras, paired with modern conveniences such as a 1.54-inch LCD screen, selfie mirror, self-timer, integrated flash, USB-C charging, and microSD card support. Accessories include a viewfinder, grip attachments, and a premium hand strap.

The instax mini Evo Cinema hybrid instant camera is set to arrive in early February 2026, priced at $409.95 USD and $479.99 CAD. Fujifilm has not yet announced local availability details for other markets.
