This leaves the MPIN and OTP as the only security option for logging to GCash. Globe’s official statement has stressed this security feature:
We wish to further assure the affected customers that their funds remain safe and secure. We would also like to remind customers never to share their OTP and MPIN.
It is possible GCash is locking down on possible points of compromise by disabling biometrics. We’ll update this story once we get additional comment from GCash.
Update (1pm): GCash has re-enabled the biometrics login feature to users.
Everytime i activate my biometrics login it gets activated for a while but then goes back to being deactivated. Help!!!
