GrabFood now available in the Philippines

Listen to article

Grab is going on a roll this month as they soft-launched another feature after the GrabAssisstant, the GrabFood. It is a service that is somewhat similar to FoodPanda. Users can place their orders via Grab app and from there, they can choose the foods that they’d  like to order from a particular food chain or restaurant then have it deliver to their location.

To use this feature, users should follow these steps:

  • Open the Grab application.
  • Change the “Transport” function to “Food”.
  • Enter the delivery address.
  • Choose from the list of nearby food franchises that will be shown.
  • Press the “+” to add an item.
  • If done, press the “View Basket” to see the orders and the total cost of the order.
  • Press “Place Order” to finish the order.

GrabFood has a fixed delivery fee of Php49 for each transaction but they can use the code “TRYGRABFOOD” to enjoy free delivery fees. Users should pay in cash as GrabPay is yet to be implemented in this feature. To know more, visit this link here.
