CEO Zhao Ming recently delved into the design philosophy underpinning the Honor Magic6 series, emphasizing a blend of history, nature, and contemporary aesthetics. Inspired by both the annals of civilization and the allure of the natural world, the smartphone’s design embraces simplicity. Notably, the camera configuration upholds Honor’s distinct “star wheel three-camera” arrangement, ensuring a unique visual identity.

Ming spotlighted the external contour, characterizing it as a classic “pillow shape” seamlessly melding square and round elements, reminiscent of China’s 5,000 years of civilization – the Samsungdui. This shape, resembling the “Jade Cong,” carries historical significance as the favored diamond cut shape in the 19th century in the West, symbolizing centuries of history and aesthetic excellence evident in classic luxury watches.

The Honor Magic6 series introduces the captivating Haihuqing color scheme, drawing inspiration from Earth’s wonders. The CMF (Color, Material, and Finish) design mirrors the natural vitality of all things, with innovative processes on the mobile phone’s back cover creating a highly recognizable and visually striking device. This commitment to aesthetics positions the Honor Magic6 series not just as a technological marvel but also as an artistic expression.

A standout feature of the Honor Magic6 series is its triple rear camera system, including a periscope telephoto lens with an impressive 100x digital zoom and a variable aperture main camera. The camera specifications, denoted on the housing as “1:1.4/2.0-2.6 ASPH,” underscore a dedication to high-quality imaging and a focus on meeting users’ diverse needs, from capturing everyday moments to exploring new photographic possibilities.

The company is gearing up for a significant two-day event next week. On January 10-11, Honor will unveil the Magic6 series and the MagicOS 8.0 interface, although a detailed timetable for each product’s announcement is yet to be disclosed, and so is an announcement of an official global release.
