HONOR is gearing up for another big release as it confirmed the HONOR X9d 5G will debut on September 24 at 3PM during a launch event in Malaysia.

Carrying the rugged DNA of the HONOR X70 that debuted in China back in July, the X9d 5G is shaping up to be a midrange contender that doesn’t shy away from durability. It boasts an IP69K rating for superior dust and water protection, along with a bulletproof-inspired frame designed to handle accidental drops and harsh conditions.
Another standout is the massive 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery, a step up from typical smartphones in its segment. If HONOR’s optimization delivers, this should translate to multi-day endurance, a feature road warriors and heavy users will appreciate. On the camera front, the device is equipped with a 108-megapixel main sensor with OIS, promising sharper, more stable shots that build on the X9c’s imaging capabilities.
The HONOR X9d 5G will launch in Reddish Brown and Sunlight Gold colorways, with pricing expected to be in line with its predecessor. Full specs, including chipset, RAM, and storage, are still under wraps—but all eyes are on HONOR’s big reveal next week.
