The HONOR Magic8 Pro is set for its global launch on November 27 as per HONOR’s official website in Malaysia. This follows the device’s unveiling in China last month.

We’ll update readers for its availability in the Philippines. In the meantime, we’ll take a look back at the flagship’s specs below.
It sports a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Powering it is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with an Adreno 840 GPU.
Since it’s the global variant of the device, we’ll update readers for its official storage capacity. For reference, the Chinese variant comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Optics consist of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 200-megapixel telephoto, and a 50-megapixel ultra wide. There’s also a 50-megapixel shooter at the front for selfies.
Battery-wise, it will pack a smaller 7,100mAh capacity compared to its 7,200mAh Chinese counterpart. However, it will still support 100W of wired fast charging and 80W of wireless charging.
Other features include its triple IP rating (IP68, IP68, IP69K), in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers with DTS:X audio. The phone will ship with MagicOS 10 out of the box based on Android 16.
Again, we’ll update readers for the full specs of the global variant in another article in the coming days.
