Huawei is officially bringing the Huawei Y6 (2018) to the Philippines very soon. This entry-level smartphone now feature’s Huawei’s signature FullView display.
The Huawei Y6 (2018) is positioned to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro and the OPPO A71. With the design very similar to the Nova 2 Lite, the Y6 (2018) comes with a 5.7-inch display in a compact form factor. The body is obviously made out of polycarbonate materials in a soft matte finish but it does not look cheap or anything like that.
The 720p or HD+ resolution of the Y6 (2018) is just right for the display size. With the new FullView display, the aspect ratio is already 18:9 () giving more screen real estate.
Powering the Y6 2018 is a Snapdragon 425 and Adreno 308 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is just 16GB but can be expanded to 256GB via the microSD card.
The device support dual nano-SIM card slots and a dedicated microSD card slot, a feature we rarely see these days. There’s also 4G LTE support as well.
Absent are the fingerprint sensor, NFC, and a gyroscope.
