Insta360 Ace, Ace Pro now official, starts at ₱21,990

Insta360 has launched two new wide-angle action cameras, the Insta360 Ace Pro alongside its base model Insta360 Ace. Both models feature AI capabilities, and 2.4-inch flip touchscreen.

The Pro model comes as a flagship and is co-engineered with Leica. It boasts a 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 5nm “AI” chip, and a Leica SUMMARIT lens.

Its capture capabilities include up to 4K video recording at 120 fps and 8K at 24 fps; 48-megapixel photos, and PureVideo that aids low light shooting.

The vanilla model Insta360 Ace on the other hand comes as a budget friendly option. With key differences being a smaller 1/2″ 48MP sensor and regular lens.

Battery-wise, both models can run up to 100 mins despite having slightly different battery capacities. The pro and base models pack 1650mAh and 1700mAh battery, respectively.

Although, the pro does support 30W fast charging and can reach full charge in 46 minutes. The vanilla model is left with the usual charging rate, reaching full charge at 70 minutes.

The Ace series also integrates a unique Stats Dashboard for compatible Garmin devices and Apple Watch. It allows overlaying videos with GPS, speed, and other data.

Price and availability

The Insta 360 Ace Pro sets you back PHP 26,990 and the Insta360 Ace is priced at PHP 21,990. Check back their availability via Henry’s Cameras PH and other authorized dealers.
