The Insta360 Link 2 and Link 2C have been launched. The Insta360 Link 2 comes with a lower price tag in comparison to its predecessor. Meanwhile, the Insta360 Link 2C is more compact, and comes without a two-axis gimbal.
Both cameras use a magnetic mount, allowing users to place them on metal surfaces. It even has a tripod screw for modern means of mounting. Notably, since the Link 2 has a gimbal, it offers better tracking capabilities around your space.
Both webcams support 4K at 30fps video recording in either vertical or horizontal orientations. The cameras make use of a sensor sized half an inch with PDAF, HDR, and low-light capabilities.
Speaking of capabilities, the cameras can create a bokeh effect and support background replacement as well. The lens has a focal length of 26mm, making use of AI-powered tracking to help keep users centered.
Plus, users also get noise reduction courtesy of AI as well. This works to filter external noises. In other words, the cameras are definitely good for work, streaming, etc. A few platforms in mind are Google Meet, Twitch, and Zoom.
The Insta360 Link 2 is priced at USD 200 (~PHP 11K). As for the Insta360 Link2C, it’s priced at USD 150 (~PHP 8K). We’ll update readers should we get details on the webcams’ availability in the Philippines.
