Major gaming studios are coming to the Philippines

According to a report by Interaksyon, four international video studios are preparing to open their own hubs in our country.

GAMES

They are already in legal stages as mentioned by Alvin Juban, president of the Game Development Association of the Philippines (GDAP), to the news website. He also said that a studio would need a workforce of 300 from the creative segment, if things goes smoothly, and the reason behind the queries of the studios could be the costly international operation in China.

The GDAP is assisting with the negotiations and they are confident that least one game studio will push through with their plans. Having a major game studio (i.e. Electronic Arts, Blizzard, Sega) on our soil can help us soar high in the game development industry.
