The platform took note of how tropical storm Carina’s floods and heavy downpour affected homes and businesses in the Philippines. However, the waiver will only be available for users with good credit standing.

Qualified users in severely affected areas should have gotten a notification from Maya via SMS or through their app. Areas include Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, NCR, Pampanga, Rizal, Tarlac, and Zambales.

Again, eligible users are not required to pay until August 15, 2024. You will not get penalties, nor will this impact your credit standing. However, fees will be charged accordingly to all customers again once the 15th arrives.
