Nintendo announces the SNES Classic

If you’re a huge fan of the games back in the 90s, Nintendo just wants to hit those nostalgic feels right up in the alley with the announcement of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) Classic Edition.

The SNES Classic Edition is the follow-up to the NES Classic released late last year. Albeit made like the original SNES, the Classic version touts to be smaller and lighter.

Also bundled in the upcoming retro console are 21 games that were previously released such as Contra III: The Alien Wars, Super Castlevania IV, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It will also include an unreleased title — Star Fox 2 — which was supposed to be the 3D-heavy sequel to the Star Fox franchise, also made for the SNES. The Nintendo SNES Classic Edition will arrive by September in the US and other countries for USD80PHP 4,695INR 6,780EUR 76CNY 582 or roughly Php4,100USD 70INR 5,923EUR 67CNY 509 before taxes and other fees.
