Buy and sell platform OLX Philippines has formally announced its integration with another buy and sell platform, Carousell.
The announcement was first delivered in April 2019, when Singapore-based Carousell received a $56 million funding from Naspers’ OLX Group. Through the deal, Carousell will acquire the OLX Philippines business. Raffy Montemayor, General Manager of OLX Philippines, will manage Carousell’s operations in the market and lead the transition.
OLX Philippines made their official announcement on its official Facebook page, stating that they will be integrated under Carousell.ph to form a single platform. The merge will be done on July 15, 2019.
