OnePlus has officially announced the upcoming launch of its latest performance-focused smartphones, the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition, set to debut on May 27 in China. These devices are designed to redefine mobile gaming experiences through advanced hardware and software integrations.

Triple-Chip Gaming Architecture
At the core of the Ace 5 Ultra series is a unique triple-chip gaming structure. This includes the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, a dedicated X-Touch control chip, and a specialized G1 e-sports Wi-Fi chip. Together, they form the industry’s first full-link hardware-level gaming architecture, engineered to deliver smoother gameplay with improved frame stability and lower power consumption.
Optimizations applied directly to the Dimensity platform allow this setup to achieve a 54.2% uplift in scheduling efficiency and a 38.3% reduction in core load. Power consumption across the system is also reduced by 10.3%, helping maintain consistent frame rates over long gaming sessions with lower heat build-up.
Specifications and Features
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED 1.5K 144Hz screen, while the Racing Edition may come with a slightly smaller 6.77-inch LTPS OLED 1.5K 144Hz panel. Both devices are anticipated to house a substantial 7,000mAh battery, with the Ultra model supporting 100W charging and the Racing Edition offering 80W fast charging.
OnePlus claims the Ace 5 Ultra series can natively run top-tier mobile titles like Justice Mobile and large-scale open-world RPGs at 120 frames per second—even with 1.5K resolution enabled. This performance is powered by an exclusive Fengchi gaming core that delivers top-tier 1% low-frame performance, zero-lag interaction, and more accurate visuals.
Additional Features
Both smartphones are said to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera. For gamers and power users, OnePlus has added a customizable Magic Cube button for enhanced in-game controls.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition are expected to be exclusive to the Chinese market, with no official word yet on global availability.
