OPPO A12 now official

OPPO has announced a new entry-level smartphone on its global site, the OPPO A12.

The OPPO A12 features a 6.22-inch waterdrop display running on a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. It’s paired with up to 4GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage, expandable to 256GB via MicroSD.

At the back sits a dual camera module arranged in a horizontal array on the upper left corner, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The cameras consist of a 13MP main accompanied by a 2MP depth lens. Sitting in the waterdrop notch is a 5MP selfie camera.

The device runs on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 out of the box, powered by a 4,230mAh battery.

OPPO is yet to share details on the A12’s price, release date, and availability. Stay tuned for updates.
