Razer Razer Blade 15 Advanced with optical switches now official

Razer has unveiled the Razer Blade 15 Advanced model equipped with a 15.6-inch FHD 240Hz display, Intel Core i7-9750H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD storage, and an industry-first optical switch keyboard. Razer also said that their newer 2020 models would also feature the new optical switches.

Optical switches are activated by intercepting an infrared beam of light instead of a contact point like other keyboard switches. Razer implemented this switch so users can have lower latency and higher actuation points for faster inputs, either while typing or gaming. Also included in the switch is a mechanical tactile click and Razer Chroma lighting.
