Samsung’s first trifold smartphone may soon hit the market, as new leaks reveal its name and key features. Reputable gadget leaker Evan Blass shared on X that the device will be called the Galaxy Z TriFold, along with what he claims are “confirmed details” about the upcoming foldable.

According to Blass, the Galaxy Z TriFold will feature a 6.5-inch outer display with up to 2600 nits of brightness and a 10-inch inner screen that can reach 1600 nits. It’s expected to come with a 200-megapixel main camera, a 5,437mAh battery, and a Snapdragon processor. The device’s three panels reportedly measure 3.9mm, 4.0mm, and 4.2mm in thickness, making the phone about 12.1mm thick when folded, slightly thinner than Huawei’s trifold model.

While these details have stirred excitement among tech fans, Samsung has yet to confirm anything. The company’s rumored launch dates for the trifold have changed several times, but the latest reports suggest a December 5 reveal in Korea, with a possible price tag of around $3,000.
If true, the Galaxy Z TriFold could mark Samsung’s next big step in foldable technology, offering users a tablet-sized screen that fits in their pocket.
