To avail of Smart’s 5G roaming service, customers abroad can easily subscribe by visiting gigaroam.smart.com.ph and choose from a variety of data plans that best suit their roaming needs.
To support this effort, PLDT, in collaboration with Smart, has expanded its total fiber footprint to over 1.1 million kilometers. This includes over 231,000 kilometers of international fiber and over 874,000 kilometers of domestic fiber, which supports Smart’s 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G network. As of the end of the first quarter of this year, Smart’s network coverage now reaches 97% of the country’s population.
