If you’ve always found Sony’s earphones/headphones with active noise cancelation (ANC) a bit too pricey, there’s now a more budget-friendly option. Sony has just released the new WF-C700N which features ANC technology. Over in Europe, it is priced at just €120 or around PHP 7100.

The Sony WF-C700N features a charging case, two earbuds, a USB charging cable, and additional earbud tips. The earbuds only weigh around 4.6 grams each, and they pair via Bluetooth 5.2 with support for SBC and AAC audio codecs. It also features DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) and IPX4 water resistance.

Sony also claims 7.5 hours of battery life with ANC on and 10 hours with ANC off. Battery life of the WF-C700N can be extended to 15 hours with ANC on and 20 hours with it off thanks to the 300mAh battery case.

Interestingly, the Sony WF-C700N packs only a small 5mm driver. As a result, we’re curious how it compares to other Sony models. Thankfully, you can fine-tune the equalizer via Sony’s Headphones Connect app.
