We recently wrote about the realme C71, which at the time of writing was only unveiled in Vietnam. Now we’re getting an official Philippine release just weeks later. Is it worth picking up? Here’s everything you need to know about the new realme C71.
Its main tagline in its marketing is “1-Hour Charge, 2-Day Use.” The C71 comes packing with a meaty 6,300 mAh battery onboard, coupled with 45W fast charging. These would have been considered flagship battery specifications just a few years ago.
Other than that, the spec sheet is what you’d expect of an entry-level device in 2025. It sports a 6.67-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an advertised max brightness of 725 nits. This should keep scrolling buttery-smooth under reasonable levels of outdoor sunlight. Inside, its breathing heart is the UNISOC T7250, a value-oriented octa-core chipset that should easily get the job done for everyday tasks. It is supported by up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Keep in mind that this is expandable via microSD card, so photos taken with the rear-facing 50-megapixel snapper, or the selfie 5-megapixel lens, can be saved with minimal stress or worry regarding storage.
The brand has also made its sturdy construction a focal point of its marketing materials. The realme C71 flexes its ArmorShell construction, giving it protection from drops of up to 1.5 meters. A SonicWave water ejection system also aims to keep moisture away from vital components to prevent prolonged, harmful exposure. The IP64 and MIL-STD 810H certifications aren’t just for show. Oh, have we already mentioned the onboard side-mounted fingerprint reader, as well as the interesting rear-facing notification ring?

The realme C71 will come shipped with Android 15 with the realme UI 6.0 skin on top. Numerous AI features are also set to come with the device, giving users the freedom to exercise creativity – especially with the photo applications.
Based on the current announcements, the C71 will be available in either the Forest Owl or White Swan colors. Official prices are PHP 5,499 and 6,499 for the 4/64GB and 6/128GB versions respectively. There is a steal on TikTok Shop 17 now, though, that has the 4/64GB model at just PHP 3,999.
