realme is gearing up for the launch of the GT 8 Pro, and a new leak suggests the device will debut a first-of-its-kind feature, user-swappable camera island designs. A teaser video shows how users will be able to switch between different module shapes, from square to round, giving the phone a more customizable look.

The design tweak explains the screws spotted on earlier leaks, which will reportedly secure the interchangeable panels. While unique, it remains to be seen whether this feature will carry over to future GT models or be a one-off experiment.
Beyond design, the realme GT 8 Pro is rumored to pack flagship hardware, including a 6.78-inch QHD OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The phone is expected to run Android 16 with Realme UI 7 out of the box.
The GT 8 Pro, alongside the standard GT 8, is expected to launch in October.
