TikTok APK now available for Android users

The TikTok APK is now available for Android users. Users may now directly download the app from the website, addressing the effects of the platform’s initial ban in the US.

For those that missed it, the platform was banned in the United States up until President Trump said otherwise. This resulted in the app’s removal from the Play Store.

Now, people can download the app again through an APK, which is a packaged version of an app. Users just have to simply download and open the APK to install it on their devices.

However, this does pose a risk for your devices. Users are advised to be wary about malicious websites posing as TikTok. This could lead to users mistakenly downloading dangerous software posing as the app’s APK file.

Additionally, TikTok Lite is also available through an APK installation. This version of the app was made to optimize performance and save storage. Keep in mind, the Lite version has watered down features compared to the main platform but still works similarly either way.
