Xiaomi launches Pad 8 series in the Philippines

Xiaomi has announced the arrival of the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro in the Philippines. The new tablets are designed for work, school, and daily use, combining strong performance with a thin and lightweight design.

Both models feature an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with up to 800 nits brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablets are 5.75mm thin and weigh 485g. Despite the slim body, they pack a 9,200mAh battery for longer usage.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Series runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which brings improved multitasking and PC-like features. Users can split the screen in new layouts, use Workstation Mode, and access a PC-level browser with mouse support and right-click functions. It also supports WPS Office apps for document editing.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform and supports 67W charging. It has a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera. Storage goes up to 512GB. A Matte Glass version is also available with reduced screen reflection.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip with 45W charging. It has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, with storage up to 256GB.

The series also introduces the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro, a 17.5g stylus with pressure sensitivity. Additional accessories include keyboards and protective covers.
