YouTube TV gets longer free trial and lower price

Listen to article

Google is making it cheaper and easier for new users to try YouTube TV by offering a longer free trial and a discounted monthly price for a limited time.

For people who have never subscribed to YouTube TV, Google is now offering a 10-day free trial, which is longer than the usual seven days. After the trial ends, the service will cost $59.99 per month for the first two months, instead of the regular $82.99 monthly price. Once the promo period is over, the subscription will automatically return to the standard rate.

The offer is aimed at new subscribers who want to test YouTube TV before fully committing. Users can cancel at any time during the free trial without being charged.

YouTube TV is a live TV streaming service that lets users watch channels for news, sports, and entertainment without a cable subscription. Google has also shared plans to introduce new options later this year, including more flexible plans and lower-priced choices.

This discount is only available for accounts that have not subscribed to YouTube TV before. Google said the deal will be available until March 17, 2026, giving interested users time to decide if the service fits their viewing needs.

For cord-cutters and viewers thinking about switching from cable, this limited-time offer provides a lower-cost way to try YouTube TV without long-term commitment.
