HP Envy x2 is a hybrid Windows 8 tablet

Listen to article

And here we thought HP is giving up on the tablet market when they closed the door with the HP TouchPad and gave away the webOS platform last year. Looks like they’re back with a vengeance and trying their luck with the HP Envy x2.

The Envy x2 got its inspiration from the Asus Transformer with its touchscreen display and a removable docking keyboard. The tablet comes in a 11.-6-inch form-factor, 720p resolution, an Atom processor, 2GB RAM, 64GB SSD running Windows 8.

It also has an SD card slot, HDMI, NFC, USB and weighs around 3.1lbs. We won’t officially see this in the market until Microsoft launches Windows 8 in October so even the price is a hush-hush.

They have nothing to worry about… specially HP which still sell much expensive product than them.

Not sure how their tf300 is going to fair with the upcoming devices as such

This uses magnets to transform into a laptop and the dock also has a battery but resolution is not that great but all in the same category have same screen resolution.

Dapat nasa 30-36k price nya considering tablet/laptop hybrid, same price range as the transformer prime
