Lenovo’s been pretty quick to upgrade their tablet netbook, the IdeaPad S10-3t, with a newer and faster Atom processor — the N470 running at 1.87GHz.
The upgrade only represents around 13% bump in the clock speed (for 1.66GHz) but for tablet netbooks like the IdeaPad S10-3t, it could be a worthwhile one. The rest of the specs basically remained the same.
Of course, this newer model has somewhat affected the retail price — it’s now up to P30,900 in stores. The S10-3 was also upgraded and priced at Php23,900.
So far, only Lenovo and HP have made this upgrade to their local netbook offerings. Hopefully, others will follow suit very soon.

What about the response of touchscreen?
Could be an upgrade diversion….
@yuga

Is this updated model for sale locally now? It looks pretty compelling as a fun toy to have around.
@lolipown – they have an 8-cell option for this one. Just didn’t have the price for that upgrade.
I wonder how much improvement that 13% speed bump offers.. nonetheless, they could’ve bumped the battery life on this hybrid instead, making it much more useful.
