Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 to launch on October 26

Microsoft’s Windows 8 will be released next month and tablet manufacturers are prepping up their products to take advantage of this release. One of them is Lenovo and their ThinkPad Tablet 2.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 is a business-centric 10.1-incher that runs a full Windows 8 Pro and Office 2013 suite. Powering the device is Intel’s next-gen Atom chip rumored to be clocked at 1.8GHz. The tablet also sports a 1,366×768 IPS display, Ethernet port, three USB ports, HDMI out, 8 megapixel camera, 2 megapixel front, NFC, an alleged 10 hour battery life and a docking keyboard.

Lenovo has confirmed that the ThinkPad Tablet 2 will launch on October 26, the same day Microsoft debuts Windows 8, with a price tag of $799PHP 46,890INR 67,715EUR 761CNY 5,815.
