The Raspberry Pi 500+ has been announced as an upgraded version of the brand’s computer-in-a-keyboard concept.

The new model now comes with 16GB of LPDDR4X-4267 RAM, doubling the capacity of its predecessor. It also moves away from microSD storage, instead offering a built-in 256GB NVMe SSD with an extra M.2 slot included for additional storage.

Powering the device is a 2.4GHz 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A76 CPU with a 2MB L3 cache. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB 3.0 ports, and dual Micro HDMI outputs supporting 4K displays.
The keyboard also has upgrades, now using mechanical Gateron Blue KS-33 switches. This also comes with customizable RGB lighting, making for a well-rounded offering in terms of personalization, comfort, and durability.
The Raspberry Pi 500+ is priced at USD 200 (~PHP 11.7K) for the standalone unit with Raspberry Pi OS pre-installed.
A Desktop Kit bundle with a power adapter, mouse, HDMI cable, and beginner’s guide is available for USD 220 (~PHP 13K).
