A yet to be announced prepaid Home WiFi plan has been leaked by a reader via our Fan Page and after trying it out, the plans seems legit. This is basically a share-a-promo feature that allows you to load your Prepaid LTE Home WiFi with data allocation of either 10GB (for Php349) or 15GB (for Php599).

To share the promo, just type “HOMESURF349” or “HOMESURF599” to “2 + 917xxxxxxx” which is the number of the prepaid LTE Home WiFi that you have. You’ll get a confirmation and after accepting, the recipient number gets a data allocation of 10GB (10 days) or 15GB (30 days).

The promo is slightly better than the 1GB for GoSurf50 that we normally use on a regular basis for our Prepaid Home WiFi (for the same Php349, you get only 7GB via GoSurf). You can also check your data allocation by texting HomeSurf Status to 8080.

Correction: We earlier stated that the HomeSurf 349 was 10GB for 30 days. It’s actually 10 days upon checking with the SMS status we got. It’s the HomeSurf 599 which is 15GB for 30 days.

Nagpaload ko yung Globe Prepaid Wifi sim ko and late ko na narealize dapat sa Globe Sim ako nagpaload para makapag register. Pano ko po mapa share a load yung load sa Wifi sim papunta ng Globe sim ko sa cellphone? Sayang yung load. ?

after successful login, you should see the tab “SMS”. from there, you can register HOMESURF349 and send to 8080

May tips po ba kayo paano mapalaks connection nito? Kht na 2 bars ang device, mabagal pa rin. Kht LTE signal, avg 110sh kbps speed ko, anu ba yan!. Pabugsu-buso din ang speed nya minsan mg 11kb/s -> 15 -> tapos mag 3 then bblk sa 10 and so on based on opensignal speed test. Need help I need stable connection for my work.

I bought one early this MARCH. Here’s what I learned:

*HOMESURF promos are standalone. You DO NOT need to register for a GOSURF promo before availing for HOMESURF.

*You need a separate GLOBE SIM to avail of HOMESURF promos via share-a-promo.
example:
step 1: You load 350 pesos to your separate GLOBE sim.
step 2: You type “HOMESURF349” and send to “2+10 digit # of your globe wifi sim”
*You will receive a message to confirm share-a-promo.
step 3: Reply “YES” to confirm.

About the GLOBE-AT-HOME app:
*It requires internet to check your remaining data balance.
*It communicates with the SIM CARD installed on your smartphone. If you have a TNT/SMART sim, availing of any promo VIA application will result in an error. You need a globe sim for it to work.

And lastly, I would like to say a big FUCK YOU to globe for failing to explain any of this. Costing me an additional 400 pesos trying to figure shit out.

10MB download, yes, lalo na kung maganda ang location mo. upload speed, i would not use it as primary (kahit OK pa ang location)… better siya pang-back up. kasi even if kaya nya pumalo ng mga 4MB on a good day, hindi parin reliable dahil may times parin na di man lang maka abot ng 2MB. Use at your own risk parin, ika nga.

HI. I just bought home wifi and register to homesurf 349. It was successfully registered. When I tried to connect my phone, it always says “connecting” or “no internet connection”. I tried having a balance of 5 pesos but still not working. I tried to register GoSurf50 and it works. But after consuming the 1gb for GS50, still I can not use the home surf promo. Please advised.

Melissa you got to have a promo plan good for 30 days. Load your home wifi with GoSURF299 to 8080 so you will have a base. So what will happen you will have a total load of (10gb your homesurf 349 and 1.5 gb gosurf299) 11.5gb good for 30 days.

Having the same problem. Purchase homesurf599 but I can’t use it. Always says “waiting for network”, “no internet connection” and “connecting” I’ll try load up with Gosurf 50 and it works however when I fully consumed the Gosurf 50, I can’t still use it the home surf 599.

The Homesurf 349/599 is not a stand alone add on lang sya supposedly. So dapat may base ka na 30days on top of that.

Hindi po gagana yang mga tricks na sinasabi nila… kung magreg ka sa gosurf99 or 299… deads ang homesurf dimo magagamit… dahil mag stick lang sya sa gosurf data pag-ubos nun wala na… kahit may 50G kapa sa homesurf… magkaproblema ka talaga… Subok ko na po yan… gosurf50 + homesurf15 lang ang pwd jan… at ung homesurf299 or 599… aside from that… wla nang ibang magagamit… try nyo kung ayaw nyo maniwala… (ung tricks na yan pwd lang sa hindi Globe at Home Sim… kaso wala rin si Homesurf15 sa non-GAH sim)…
