Globe AT HOME is giving eligible customers free internet speed boosts of up to 1Gbps along with free WiFi 6 modem upgrades to help improve home connectivity for work, school, and entertainment.
Subscribers whose current modem cannot support the upgraded speeds may also upgrade to a WiFi 6 modem for free, but with a required 24-month relock period.
The company said the move aims to help Filipino households deal with rising expenses and the ongoing energy crisis by making remote work, online learning, and digital activities at home more efficient.
“In solidarity with the government’s call for energy conservation, Globe AT HOME is committed to making the remote work and education experience as seamless as possible,” said Abigail Cardino, Vice President and Head of Brand Management for Broadband Business at Globe.
The company added that the initiative is part of its effort to support families by improving access to reliable internet services while helping them stay productive and connected at home.
Globe has not yet shared how long the promo will run or which plans are eligible for the free upgrade.
