Globe AT HOME is giving eligible customers free internet speed boosts of up to 1Gbps along with free WiFi 6 modem upgrades to help improve home connectivity for work, school, and entertainment. Subscribers whose current modem cannot support the upgraded speeds may also upgrade to a WiFi 6 modem for free, but with a required 24-month relock period. “In solidarity with the government’s call for energy conservation, Globe AT HOME is committed to making the remote work and education experience as seamless as possible,” said Abigail Cardino, Vice President and Head of Brand Management for Broadband Business at Globe. Globe has not yet shared how long the promo will run or which plans are eligible for the free upgrade. Globe is looking to re-invent the mobile hotspot and this time, they partnered with Rainx to introduce The loop in the Philippines.
