We may all be too focused on LG’s newest flagship and its friends that we almost forgot one more important thing that make this device special, and that’s the operating system. Luckily, the Korean tech giant showed us a preview of the upcoming UX 5.0 embedded on the G5’s Android Marshmallow system.
Still echoing its playful characteristic that started from the flagship device and and its new ecosystem of devices dubbed as ‘friends’, the updated LG UX promises a smoother pairing, a smarter phone doctor, a more streamined interface, and the use of a new one-view home screen akin to how Huawei and Xiaomi do it. Don’t fret, though, as you can still revert back to the app drawers through the settings menu. Here’s a quick look:
