Intel has just announced their new 12th generation desktop processors today based on their new Alder Lake architecture. The new 12th Gen processors are the first to support DDR5 memory with support for the older DD4. 12th generation Intel processors have to use the Z690 chipsets with the LGA1700 socket. The 12th generation Intel Core processors are priced at USD 264 for the Core i5-12600KF model and goes all the way to USD 589 for the Core i9-12900K. The long wait is finally over as the chipmaker formally announces the 5th Generation Intel Core processor lineup which includes a total of 14 new processors under the Core i3, i5 and i7, as well as three new Pentium and Celeron chips. Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors.
