According to Apple, they have determined that a limited number of 128GB and 256GB solid-state drives (SSD) used in 13-inch MacBook Pro (non Touch Bar) units have an issue that may result in data loss and failure of the drive. Users can also check their 13-inch MacBook Pro's eligibility using its serial number on Apple's support website here. Apple has officially unveiled its newest lineup of laptops, the MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini.  The new Mac lineup is now powered with the M1 chip, Apple's first system on chip (SoC) designed for Mac.
