Uber and Chinese tech company WeRide have officially launched a fully driverless robotaxi service in Abu Dhabi, making it open to the public with no human safety driver. Both companies say the service will expand soon to more areas across Abu Dhabi’s city center. Finally able to make it to the Nokia World 2013 event here in Abu Dhabi after so many last minute changes and rushed processing. Left Manila around midnight last night and arrived in Dubai 8 hours later, then a 2 hour drive to Abu Dhabi.
