Acer has finally introduced its Macbook Air counterpart with the Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook -- a 1.3cm super-thin laptop. The Aspire S3 will weigh under 1.4kg or less than 3lbs (the equivalent Macbook Air is still lighter) and Acer promises up to 7 hours of battery life. I should have said "Have you seen the Acer Aspire One" but didn't bother to argue anymore. Just 5 days after the new 10" Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995. The Acer Aspire One was introduced during the Computex at Taipei, Taiwan yesterday. The Aspire One D150 is Acer's second generation netbook, powered by the newer Atom N280 of Intel.
