Acer has announced at the CES 2016 the entry-level Iconia One 8 Android tablet for families, children or novice users. The Iconia One 8 (B1-850) features an 8-inch HD display, MediaTek quad-core CPU, and Acer Kids Center app for a simplified child-friendly user interface, and pre-screened content appropriate for children, including videos, games, books, and websites. The top-tier model is the Acer Iconia Duo S14, built for creative professionals who need a massive screen on the go. The most budget-friendly option is the Acer Iconia Duo D12, which brings the useful 3:2 screen shape to a much wider audience. The Acer Aspire One was introduced during the Computex at Taipei, Taiwan yesterday. Just 5 days after the new 10" Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995. Fans of the Acer Aspire One will be glad to know there's an upcoming 10.1-inch netbook (although we can't say when Acer will officially announce it). Based on the photos, looks like Acer has also fixed that awkwardly positioned trackpad buttons.
