Acer Aspire One goes 10"

Acer Aspire One goes 10″

Fans of the Acer Aspire One will be glad to know there’s an upcoming 10.1-inch netbook (although we can’t say when Acer will officially announce it).

Photos from macles* indicate a new Aspire One with a 10.1″ display screen, an update to the first generation 8.9″.

Based on the photos, looks like Acer has also fixed that awkwardly positioned trackpad buttons. That’s something that actually turned me off the first time I saw the Aspire One.

It will also come with a 6-cell battery and could be running a newer and faster Intel Atom N280 (via).

Looks way better. I have the smaller version and although I have no gripes with the unit, the only thing that irks me is the short battery life which runs about two hours and then it goes kaput.

i own the first gen aspire one, the model with a 9-inch thing. it is awesome!

  7. i have exactly the model above. bought it a year ago for a little less than php28,000. i’ve only used it for less than a year though cos i was given a red lenovo enhanced thinkpad x100e. i want to sell my acer which i used basically for my MA studies (research, reports, etc). i had the OS changed from windows vista to windows xp and the windows word 2007 is original but that’s about it. it’s in very good condition and i placed it back in its original box. how much do you think i can sell it for?

thanks so much, i do appreciate any advice you can give me.
