Acer has just announced at IFA 2017 in Berlin, a few new products to add to their Predator arsenal of gaming products. Two of the bunch are the Acer Predator Orion 9000 series of gaming desktops, as well as the Acer Predator X35, a 21:9 curved monitor that features NVIDIA G-SYNC and Acer HDR Ultra. The Predator Orion 9000 on paper alone, is already a beast. Virtual reality apps, gaming at 8K resolution, and serious content creation are some of the applications that the Predator Orion 9000 series would definitely handle with ease. Acer Predator X35 key features: 35-inch 21:9 VA WQHD (3440 x 1440) display 1800R curved panel 4ms response time 200Hz refresh rate NVIDIA G-SYNC Acer HDR Ultra Acer BlueLightShield 178-degree viewing angles The Acer Predator Orion 9000 Series PC's will be available in North America in December with the base model starting at $1,999. The Acer Predator X35 monitor's price has not yet been announced, but will be available sometime in Q1 of 2018. Acer has expanded its gaming lineup with the launch of the Predator Atlas 8, a new Windows-based handheld gaming device designed for portable PC gaming.
