Acer has released a new convertible Chromebook that takes a head on Google's PixelBook dubbed the Spin 11 and its price won't make make your wallet cry (for a little bit). The Spin 11 will come in two models: the CP311-1H and the CP311-1HN. Acer has expanded its AI PC lineup at COMPUTEX 2026 with the introduction of the new Swift Air 14 and Swift Spin 14 AI laptops, both powered by Intel’s latest processors. Meanwhile, the Swift Spin 14 AI is a Copilot+ PC equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, offering up to 100 TOPS of AI performance. Both laptops include Acer’s AI software suite and are scheduled to launch in North America in August 2026. Acer has officially unveiled the Chromebook Plus Spin 514, its first Chromebook powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, offering built-in Google AI features, impressive battery life, and a rugged convertible design—all headlined for creators, students, and professionals who need performance and portability. The new Chromebook Plus Spin 514 (CP514-5HN) steps up with the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 CPU paired with a dedicated NPU able to deliver up to 50 TOPS of AI processing power, enabling real-time on-device AI features such as smart tab grouping, AI-powered image editing, and seamless Google Lens integration.
