Agoda has recently added a HygienePlus feature on its website to show accommodations that implement hygiene measures. The HygienePlus feature gives Filipino travelers the added assurance of identifying hotels that meet a checklist of standardized measures in the new normal. Accommodations with good hygiene protocols will have a HygienePlus badge on the Agoda website, indicating two or more major categories under the feature namely safety procedures, health and medical, protective equipment, and social distancing. The accommodation listing on Agoda may update the HygienePlus measures it has identified as available from time to time and may choose to opt-out of this HygienePlus program if they are no longer fully or partially maintaining such facilities and/or measures. HygienePlus quickly and easily identify hotels that are ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. Of course, on Agoda, guests can also check peer reviews on the cleanliness of facilities to further confirm their decisions,” Agoda Chief Operating Officer Omri Morgenstern said. Customers may now check out the available accommodations with a HygienePlus badge on Agoda.
