More manufacturers are expected to integrate entry-level AI capabilities in consumer-friendly laptops, making AI-driven computing more accessible to students, remote workers, and casual users. ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the availability and pricing of its 2026 ROG Strix G and ROG Strix SCAR gaming laptops in the Philippines. Colorful has announced the iGame M15 Origo and iGame M16 Origo gaming laptops at Computex 2026. Both laptops feature Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs with 115W TGP, paired with Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and 2.5K 300Hz displays. Colorful said the laptops use a cooling system with dual fans, six heat pipes, quad exhaust vents, and support for up to 200W combined CPU and GPU performance. Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon C platform, a new processor designed for entry-level laptops priced starting at around USD 300. Qualcomm said laptops powered by Snapdragon C are expected to launch later this year from brands including Acer, HP, and Lenovo. Acer has expanded its AI PC lineup at COMPUTEX 2026 with the introduction of the new Swift Air 14 and Swift Spin 14 AI laptops, both powered by Intel’s latest processors.
