As the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona approaches, HONOR has confirmed that it will demo its AI deepfake detection technology along with other AI features under its so-called “HONOR Alpha Plan”. This includes pixel-level flaws, issues with border compositing, and anomalies in facial features or video frame transitions. GCash has expanded its in-app help tools and security features to address a growing number of user issues on its platform, including unauthorized transactions, scams, account takeovers, and “wrong send” errors. Security features in place GCash highlights several built-in security controls, including Account Secure, which limits account access to one device at a time. Just received an SMS from my account manager from Security Bank early this morning (this was after one missed call). Then, we noticed several other Security Bank customers also report of the same SMS confirmation (just that mine was more personalized). I was also told by my account manager that this is a new security policy they are enforcing, especially if the withdrawals are sizable. Project Solara will run on enterprise-grade infrastructure with identity and security tools like Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
