According to MacRumors, iOS 18.2 (beta 2) introduces a "Share Item Location" option, allowing users to temporarily share the location of a lost AirTag with anyone aside from their trusted contacts. The link, which is accessible on both Apple and non-Apple devices, provides real-time location data or the last known location of the AirTag. In addition to the apparent UI changes, there's a new 'People' tab that shows a map of a user's friends and family members who are sharing their location with you. While location sharing is already available in Google Maps, Android's Find My Device app makes it more convenient to see both your devices and people in one place.
